Hi, I am having problems downloading files to my Mac. I ftp the files to a mainframe, and then use Kermit to get them to my Mac. Some files work fine, but others only show the opening screen and then either freeze the Mac or just kick back out of the program. I have a IIcx, and programs that don't work for me are Disinfectant1.6 and SolarianII. I do not get any errors reported when ftping or Kermiting. I use the 'cat' command on the mainframe to assemble files that I get in several pieces. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? It's very frustrating to wait 2 hours (I have a pathetic 1200 baud modem) only to end up with something that doesn't work.
