I've been looking at UUPC 2.1 for the Macintosh. As a first step I've been trying to get uupc running over Appletalk. The mail side of the package looks to be working ok, however 'uupc', the file transfer starts working and then blows up when it trys to logon onto a remote Macintosh. I'm looking for someone who's played around with UUPC Ver 2.1 (or any other version) on the Mac that may be able to help me. I suspect that the setup of the 'systems' file could be the problem. For reference, this is the systems file I'm using at present: # connect to another mac (uupc) running in slave mode. # speed of receiving mac is set in its "profile STR:SPEED. # Start slave uupc with -r0 arg # ironbark NONE a DIR 57600 g "" \r\2 km-\r-km-\r-km@ironbark.uupc uupc Password: uupc # Please e-mail me if you have any experience in this area.
