There is all sort of specific question going around about MacTCP, UUPC and
stuff. I find that a scan through news in various news groups. Some
topics are interesting and many of my questions have been answered by other
news readers. This is a good source of information.
However, I am graduating soon and will lose access to this account. Is
there another way I can access usenet's news groups. I will no longer
have internet connection.
I do have a modem, a mac and a phone line however. Does anyone know how
I can continuing reading news?

Try requesting information for Portal Communications in Cupertino, CA. They offer unlimited access to the Usenet/Internet for $9.95 per month. You'll need to dial them via Telenet, however, which charges $30 for 30 hours/month -- I'm sure Telenet has a local number to you. Best wishes. --Randy
