Are there any conversion tools for changing Interleaf graphics to some other format which supports draw objects, specifically PICT. The problem is that I am putting together a document on a Macintosh, but I need to use graphics generated by Interleaf on an Apollo. I haven't been able to find a single conversion utility yet, besides capturing the Postscript that goes out to the printer. The reason I'd like to keep the graphics as a set of draw commands is that the text becomes unreadable when reduced to the size I need. I would like to beable to just increase the size of the text. Much graditude goes out to anybody who can help, since I have been frusturated by the fact that I must retype the text so that it is readable when small. -- Dan Olson (UUCP ..!uw-beaver!ssc-vax!dano)

I am endevoring to perform the same magic. If you find a way let me know. Here is what I have been able to do so far. "Capture" the postscript from interleaf by printing to "printerleaf" then running the resultant file through the filter pl2ps (printerleaf to postscript). Transfer the file to the mac (via telnet or however you can do it). At this point I can send the PS (postscript) to an Apple Laserwriter with programs like Widgets (by CE Software) or Postility (by PostCraft). But......Postility has another trick up its sleeve, the manual says it can convert PS to pict or to text!!! I have not tried it but if it works, it will solve all our problems. My end result is to allow Interleaf graphics (we have ~500 workstations) to be colorized on the Mac and printed to my QMS ColorScript Model 10.
