I wasn't the one who posted the cheap prices, but I just bought a Quantum
105 from Alliance Peripheral Systems (800) 233-7550 for only $619.
The sales person was well informed and very helpful, the product arrived
complete with formatting software, mounting bracket, instructions, and
several megs of PD software. It was already formatted, tested, and ready
to drop into my new Mac IIcx!

Alliance's prices on internal Quantum drives are:

		40 Mb $349
		80 Mb $549
	   105 Mb $619
	   170 Mb $949

They sell quite a few other types of storage media, including high capacity
Imprimus Wren series drives, SyQuest removable's, TEAC Tape drives,
and dual drive systems.

By the way, I have *no* affiliation with Alliance -- I'm just a very
happy customer! I had ordered a Quantum 80 from another company for
$689, but after a week I found out that this other (un-namable)
company hadn't even shipped my order! Alliance however, shipped my
Quantum 105 and got it here in two business days! I was, and still am,
very favorably impressed!

Oh well, enough good things said... :-)
