I have recently had problems with my Mac Plus hanging in the middle of the boot process. It seems to hang either before or after it loads Superclock! or SuperSpool 5.5df. At first I thought that somehow SuperSpool became corrupted so I pulled a copy off of my backup set. This cured the problem for a few days. I had been having the problem for the past week and a half until I ran DiskExpress. This seems to have cured the problem. So, my question is this: could the fact that an INIT became fragmented cause problems during the boot process? I do have about 20 or 30 INITs that I use and thought it could have been a conflict with one of them but I don't think this is the case anymore. Thanks in advance for any help.
