A friend of mine would like very much to use a Mac to dial-in to her company's AS400 minicomputer. The AS400 has an IBM 5208 protocol converter attached. People who communicate with IBM PCs and such use software called "Dial 3X". We're trying to find whether the 5208 allows communication with a standard terminal type like VT100, or if anyone knows what type of terminal "Dial 3X" emulates. More to the Mac point, does anyone know of Mac software which emulates an IBM 3101 ASCII terminal? Thanks very much. -- Mike Partridge partridg@umaxc.weeg.uiowa.edu
