I just installed 6.0.5 on my Portable and ran into a very odd problem: Whenever I use the Palatino font the pixels that make up the characters change as I type continue to type. In other words, as I type this, the appearance of the words before it ripple. This is extremely distracting, to say the least. I've not had a chance to try printing a document so I've no idea what it looks like on paper. It happens in Key Caps and Word. Before I back 6.0.5 out, does anyone have any explaination and/or a fix for this?? (Other than get rid of Palatino - I love the font for some reason.) Other 6.0.5 related problems: My "Appointment Diaries" file got zapped from 4K to 65K of garbage. "Key Caps" became "Key"box" Caps where "box" is the "character does not exist in this font character. The speaker puts out an awful click whenever I turn the Portable on. I'm sure I'll find others. *sigh* -David C.
