The last I saw, the only AppleShare-specific thing the Installer did to your System file was to add two DRVR resources: ".AFPTranslator" and ".XPP". I guess if you really wanted to make sure your system didn't have AppleShare, you could clear out these two resources with ResEdit, as well as trashing the "AppleShare" file. Of course, this might no longer be true with 6.0.5...
