[comp.sys.mac] Solarian II vers. 1.02 NOW POSTED

deadman@garnet.berkeley.edu (03/28/90)

Hello, everybody. This is Ben Haller, the guy who wrote Solarian II (my
personal slave Andrei is temporarily incapacitated, so I've got to do the
work for once). I've never posted before in my life, so forgive my errors.
Well, the point is that Solarian II version 1.02 is now (3/27/90) posted
on sumex-aim.stanford.edu. Just as with this now, I'm kind of clueless,
and I think I did it wrong, but the only problem (I think) is that it is in
the 'pub' directory, instead of being in info-mac.games. So it goes. It
is StuffIted and Binhexed, and split into 5 parts. It *is* there, so you
just need to find it (until they remove it for no apparent reason...)
What's the difference, I hear a small group of addicts cry. Well, first
of all it fixes the MultiFinder update bug and it now works with all
keyboards. But, more than that, it has a few more Nifty Sounds, it lets
you configure your keys to your wits end (no more excuses for low scores,
folks!), it has slightly nicer graphics, slightly better user interface,
etc.
So, the moral of the story: download and prosper. And please, re-post it
on your favorite hangout spots. Right now it is *only* at sumex-aim, which
isn't so great. And send your money.
Anyone with flames regarding my massive mishandling of this posting please
address it to me personally.

"The State! Always and ever the government and it's rulers and operators
have been considered above the general moral law. ...For centuries the
State has committed mass murder and called it "war"; then ennobled the mass
slaughter that "war" involves. For centuries the State has enslaved people
into its armed battalions and called it "conscription" in the "national
service." For centuries the State has robbed people at bayonet point and
called it "taxation."" - Murray Rothbard, "For A New Liberty"
