[comp.sys.mac] 8-bit to 24-bit upgrade?

Hi Mac fiends:

    With all this talk on the IIfx upgrades, has anybody heard any talk
about upgrades like the current 8-bit video to 24-bit a la the 4-bit to
8-bit upgrade?  I'm SURE it is not as easy as adding chips (the way I think
do the 4 -> 8 upgrade), so it is probably pricey $$$$.  Any rumors, news?
