I usually don't use MacroMaker, it has previously been extremely bug ridden, and I've found QuickKeys to be much more useful. However, I recently upgraded to 2.5 megs and installed System 6.0.5. So, I decided to take a look at the latest release of MacroMaker. At first, it didn't seem any different from older releases. However, it turns out that the new release stores menu commands by both name AND position - that is, first it checks for the name, if it can't find that it uses the position. I've found this to be more useful than even QuicKeys implementation. Is this documented anywhere? The 6.0 manuals say that it only stores menu choices by position, rather than by name... On a similar subject, is there any way to edit a macromaker script? Aside from the menu names and item names of menu choices, the rest of the information is so much hex garbage to me.
