Sirs, I have a friend whois planning to purchase a new computer. I believe that a Mac would be best for him. He has little computer experience except on an _old_ Mac 128K that he owns. He likes it, but needs a good bit more power. It would not be a problem to convince him to purchase at least an SE except for one thing. He is a pilot/instructor and wants to use his computer to help his students learn the necessary background theories/rules that they need to know. There are several programs available on the IBM PC side of the world which help teach these things... are there any available for the Mac? Also, he wants to download the pilot's weather information that is available from the government. IBM PC's and compatibles can access this data and with the proper software can display the weather maps. I can get the data downloaded for him, and show him how, but what software will display the maps? Any help you can give would be appreciated. His family and himself all would prefer a Mac if it can do the things that need to be done. Thans. Bruce
