If this is sooooooo important why didn't you include: a) the title and date of the supposed article in the Times, and b) the text of the FCC ruling. I've read this bboard for a year and a half (comp.sys.mac --just in case you crossposted to the world) and this message (FCC WILL TAKE AWAY OUR MODEMS!!!!) seems to be posted once every month-and-a-half. I (and I'm sure other readers of the boards) have developed a kind of "boy who cried wolf" feeling about this. If the FCC is indeed doing this, then cite your sources, please!
