What CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) toole are there for the mac? How can I plot one column against another in Excel. I know about copying two columns and then using paste special in the chart. What I want is to be able to plot, for example, sin(x) against cos(x). That is, I create a column of values ranging from 0 through 6.2 stepping .1 for ex. I then take the sin of this in one col, and the cos of this in another col. I then want to plot cin against the cos columns. This should produce a circle. I did this on an Apple IIGS using VIP. It worked like a charm. Now I need to know how this is done using Excel. Is there a way to reconstruct an Excel 2.2 file. I put a lot of work into creatin a worksheet in Excel. I am running system 6.0.3, 5Mb mem and inits such as After Dark, SUM partition, ATM, Type Align, and Sundesk. As a startup application I run TimeKeeper (which has seemed to cause a little trouble before.) After putting a lot of work into a workshhet, I save and quitl. When quitting, my Mac hangs and the TimeKeeper stays on screen with a copy of the worksheet in the shape of the dial still left on screen, everything else is wiped out. (I was running multifinder, of course)....Well, when trying to read my Excel file again, Excel complains about not being able to read my file when it is 95-97% through. Is there a way to reconstruct this file\ Any help is of course creatly appreciated. Thanks, 'Olafur olafur@krafla.rhi.hi.is
