I haven't dealt much with GIF pictures, but is there someone who could followup with tips and methods for going from a generic GIF file, to a file that can be read with Giffer or those other applications, and then from a Gif created by a mac program to just standart GIF? For instance, I took a GIF picture that I had made on a Mac. Then I tried uploading it to a UNIX host, and using a DECstation to display it. The GIF almost came in. I could tell it was the picture. But it was still messed. Is this perhaps because of Macbinary conversions that must be made?? - Thanks ============================================================================== == Chris Silverberg, WPI Box 719 ========= BBS Sysop: Main Street U.S.A. ===== == USENET: macman@wpi.wpi.edu ============ 2400 baud - (508) 832-7725 ======== == BITNET: macman@wpi.bitnet ============= Fido: 322/575 - Second Sight BBS == == GEnie: C.Silverberg ================== America Online: Silverberg ========
