Of course, Redux does the same things and has very extensive file-
filtering capabilities--including doing things like defining files based
on filenames or extensions, kinda like DOS and its methods.  If you want
it, it's there.

Hmmm, scares me.  I hate the thought of having a backup but no way to
restore.  Essentially, then, I have to pay the shareware fee anyway to
take a full look at how the program does things.  I hope the author has
a money-back guarantee.  Just being able to use the backup side of the
software doesn't give the user enough information to decide whether he
wants it or not.  Nevertheless, I agree, it's a fascinating method.
Perhaps a nice compromise between ya-have-to-buy-it and "shareware,
yeah, sure, I'll pay the fee <snicker snicker>."
