[comp.sys.mac] Mac II on it's Side?

sather@blake.acs.washington.edu (Jim Sather) (04/11/90)

I should have paid attention long ago because I know this discussion came
across the net at least half a dozen times. I have placed my mac II on it's
side so the floppy drive is on the high end. The screen on my monitor seems
to be sort of wavey now, kind of makes me sea-sick. My guess is that this is
probably a consequence of putting the power supply on it's side, but that's
just a guess. Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to resolve it?
I'd appreciated any comments and/or suggestions. Oh, Also should I use a cpu
stand so air can ventilate beneath the bottom side or is placing it on the
floor OK. Currently I have it on the floor between my desk and a wall with
about an inch gap on each side so to prevent it from falling over.

Thanks In Advance,

-Jim
