[comp.sys.mac] CASE tools for the Mac?

steve@hp-ptp.HP.COM (Steve_Witten) (04/07/90)

Hello all --

I am looking for information on CASE (that's Computer Aided Software Engr)
tools that run on the Macintosh. Specifically, I'm looking for something akin
to Teamwork/SA (in the UNIX world) or Excelerator (in the PC world) for doing
DeMarco/Yourdon Structured Analysis.

Send me some tips...

You can post here or mail me direct.

Thanks...

Steve Witten

I have a couple of really great CASE tools for the mac.
Got them from a mail-order company for $15. One is
a Torx wrench with a long handle, the other looks like
a battery clip whose business-end has been flattened with a
sledge hammer.

Besides DEFT, mentioned in an earlier posting, you might also look at
SilverRun, which has both Logical Data Modeling and Data Flow Diagramming
tools. This product is from XA Systems, also in Canada. If you want
a contact name/address/phone, please drop me a note.
