I just got a copy of the smtp0.87.sit file from madhaus.utcs.utoronto.edu. I assume this is what I need to run Beavergate. There was another file called beaver-085 in the same directory, but downloading it just gives me a file that apparently can't be used for anything (perhaps I'm wrong on this one). So, I ran smtp_config to set things up. That was fairly easy, although the program 'unexpectedly quit' when I tried to use the Aliases... option under the Options menu. I then ran smtp_send and created a new message and saved it to the outgoing mail folder. When I 'ran the queue', it said that the outgoing message was invalid. All I put in the message was the message body, no headers since I don't know what it expects to see. I assume it wants to have the To: address in there somewhere, but I can't figure out how to specify this. I was able to receive mail without any trouble. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any documentation for Beavergate? Does that beavergate-085 file have anything to do with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Don Rainwater, Systems Manager, Univ. of Cincinnati Computer Center Don.Rainwater@UC.Edu ...!uccba!ucunix!rainwatr rainwatr@ucbeh.bitnet
