Well, after posting a request for info on the GCC PLP II I got back a few letters. I also decided that I couldn't wait 3 months for mine to be delivered so I called them up, canceled the order, and ordered a DeskWriter from Dr.Mac instead. That'll be here today or so. Yes, I saved some $600 or so on the deal, but I got an InkJet instead of laser mechanism. Not sure if it was a good tradeoff. The time factor was the determining one. I was also told by the few dealers that I called (as well as the company) that the back-order was universal, I.e. no one seemed to have any on stock, or any idea when they would (earlier than the 3 month quote I received from GCC itself). So, thanks for all the info. Everyone who mailed me said the machine was a very nice one, fast enough, good quality and hardware, etc.. If you can wait, and have the need/money, go for it. I couldn't wait, so I didn't. - Yossie
