The setup: Mac IIcx, System 6.0.5, Word 4.0a, bitmapped version of LaserWriter fonts from info-mac archives. The problem: Fractional width ON results in occasionally incorrect printing of text on the LaserWriter - in particular when text is in outline mode. The example: 18pt Helvetica, bold & OUTLINE, flush right (i.e. ragged left). One line paragraph with text "COMPUTER SYSTEMS LABORATORY" (part of a letterhead). The paragrpah has a line at the bottom (i.e. under the text), and is followed by a paragraph of names, addresses, etc. WITHOUT fractional width on it prints as displayed - correctly. WITH fractional widths on it is indented from the right margin by about 0.5 inches. The line under the paragraph extends correctly to the right margin, and the text in the next paragraph (which is not in outline mode) is also correctly positioned. Can somebody tell me how to work around this, or am I doomed to write only documents without fractional widths turned on (with consequential damage to the estetic quality of my documents)?
