I would like some information about "walkmans" and their ilk.
Although they're not recommended for use while riding bicycles
or walking along train tracks, they seem ideal for travel
when you're far away from your home entertainment centre and
other loved ones.
To wit: how much does a Walkman Professional cost in the States?
Where are they cheapest? New York City? I suspect that it
would be cheaper to import one and pay the duty than it would be
to buy one up here in the Great White North.
Are there better alternatives? It seems that the WP is the
closest thing to a pocket-sized cassette-deck (it records as
well as plays) and gives better playback results than most.
