A friend has a small T-shirt business and he wants to buy 2 or 3 macs to help with accounting, sales, and inventory: Does anyone out there know of a package that will do the following basic functions (in an easy-to-learn, and easy-to-use way if at all possible) 1) Have inventory records updated automatically once a sale is made and an invoice issued. Up-to-date inventory displays are very important to him. 2) Allow regular deposits to the company account to be split (auto- matically would be preferred) into sub-accounts. (Example: 60% of a deposit to manufacturng cost account, 25% to payroll, 10% to future computer purchases :-) [my figures] etc.) 3) Ability for several sales people to use the same data file at once. This is needed for future comapny expansion. Every sales person would need access to files and current inventory data at the same time. 4) Accounts Payable, Receivable, and General Ledger capabilities. 5) Payroll would be nice but is not crucial immediately (The company only has 2 employees right now.)
