I have a question..... I was told by one of my friend (MacII-sys 6.04) last year that he was having some WEIRD problems in his chooser. What happens is that as times goes by (he said as he opened chooser more and more as he used them) each individual CNTL items' text portion (the name of a button, eg) changed to the USER NAME typed in in the chooser window one at a time. When all the CNTL item became his USER NAME, the machine crashed. He initialized the HD, re-installed the entire system and did that over and over again.....still gets the same problem. Now, another friend of mine (SE -sys 6.05) got the same problem. He again changed and reformatted the entire drive and the sytem..... still gets that problem..... what's going on? anybody familiar with this WEIRD chooser problem?
