I noticed that HP recently announced an Appletalk adapter for their LaserJet IID. This laser prints very nicely on BOTH sides of the paper, However, i guess you need 4 megs of ram using postscript... We acquired one to use as our line printer off of a Small Xenix system, and it sure is nice to have our reports come out in half the size they used to. Has anyone had any experience yet with the IID? (is the adapter out yet?) I wonder if Apple has/is considered Making one of their lasers 2 sided?

I just got off the phone with my HP rep (actually yesterday) and he stated that everything he saw with the HP LJ on MSDOS machines can be done with the Mac. My feeling, IMHO is that HP has done a good job with the printing question and I have no reason to believe that they woul blow it now.

Huh? Half the *size*? I thought the IID just had an extra mechanism to flip the page after doing one side. Anyone wanna clarify?
