To me, when using a Mac, "Don't have any docs" means "I tossed the documentation on the floor without looking at it because the primary feature of a Macintosh is that the software packages are intuitive and should not require wading through a manual, especially if the help facilty is worth anything at all." I tried an Excel manual once, didn't get a solution that worked, asked a co-worker, and haven't looked at a manual for a Macintosh application since. I could not tell you where a single of my Macintosh manuals is. This may sound like a bad attitude, but I have always found other Mac users more than willing to share their knowledge of how to use a particular feature of an application.
