I'd like to get a vanilla English dictionary for my Mac, but I think there aren't any. Here's what I know about: WordFinder - I have this and I like it very much, but it's a thesaurus, not a dictionary. Big Thesaurus - This looks nicer than WordFinder, and heads each group of synonyms with a brief definition; but again, it's not a dictionary. Webster's Ninth (?) New Collegiate Dictionary - has all illustrations, plus recorded pronunciations; so big it has to live on a CD-ROM. If I had a gigabyte hard disk, this would be great! (But I don't even have a CD-ROM drive--yet.) Truly, a product ahead of its time...by eight or ten years....
