I'd bet on more. I stopped by their booth at MacWorld a few weeks ago, they
had a good deal on a 19" display. So I start asking the dude (I am using this
appropriately, he was barely awake) about some of the things I had read in
the last months MacWorld and MacUser reviews. Not only didn't he know the
answers, he didn't even know that there had been TWO feature reviews on big-
screen displays.

Feeb-city.

I think its a little presumptious to assume that everyone runs out
and reads MacWorld or MacUsers reviews and then slight the whole
company because you think he should have read all these articles
	just to satisfy you.

And if you've never had to sit in a booth at Macworld for several
hours, I would bet you would be half-awake too..

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you here, Norm. This is exactly
why the "dude" is at the show, to positively reflect on his company. If
he isn't doing that, then the wrong person is in the booth. If he
hasn't read what his company is saying to the two largest trade mags
about his product, he shouldn't be telling the public something different.

I disgree, while a marketing rep at a show should
be familiar with his products and software so that
he can effectively discuss his products. That does
not mean he is going to be aware of every published
report on his product. He should be knowledgable
enough on his products to defend them from perhaps
less then great reviews or be able to admit that
in comparison to other products in that category
they have room for improvement that they are looking
		 into.
