Hi, I hope someone out there can help me. I have just started to make use of the binaries posted to the comp.binaries.mac group, and up until last week had only been using single file postings. However when I read about the new Mac virus I tried to get the newest version of Disinfectant. However it comes in three files and this has caused me problems with StuffIt, both the Hex->Bin conversion and the unpacking of any resulting archive I get. I saved the files from the news group in mail format and tried converting them one at a time - no joy. Then I tried appending files 2 and 3 to 1 and working on that, but again no joy. Now the only thing I can think of is that I shouln't have used mail format, and should now edit out the header info. from the large file I've generated before running Hex->Bin and then extract from the archive. However this is only guess work and I was wondering if someone out there could point me in the right direction rather then have me going around in circles.
