[comp.sys.mac] Question on upgradability of an Antique Mac

mpmst1@unix.cis.pitt.edu (metlay) (06/13/90)

I have just purchased a used 512K Mac (thanks, Adrian), and am interested
in getting information on upgrading its memory, replacing its SS disk
drives with DS drives, and/or replacing its rear panel to add a SCSI port
etc. (i.e. go the 512->512e->quasi-Plus route). Are such things still
possible, and if so, whom do I contact and how much are these various
operations likely to cost?

Please forgive my bandwidth; reply via Email if possible. And if there's
a "frequently asked question" reference on this topic, please point me to it.

thanks again,
