I have a Macplus with an XP30 external drive. It was working find up until about 3 days ago. Now everytime I boot from the hard disk, the happy face appears, but then the 'Welcom to Macintosh' screen and message tries to appear, but just shows an outline of the rectangle that the message would be in and it begins to Shimmer violently and it won't boot. It will boot fine from a floppy and then I can run finder from the disk by double clicking. Can someone give me a clue as to what might be happening? I noticed that someone else has a very similar problem as mine, only he gets a sad face. Help Please...... Thanks, andy
