I've got it! Reading all of the software piracy articles intertwined with the MacWorld dunning letters gave me the following idea. All the software developers get a list of all Mac owners from Apple and start sending dunning letters. Who knows who might feel guilty enough to pay for what they've been using? :-) Seriously, it's no wonder that MacWorld uses such tactics (I'm not excusing them) when so many of you take it seriously. It reminds me of the way people slow down below the speed limit as soon as they see a police car. Can you seriously believe that anyone would spend hundreds to thousands of dollars taking you to court only to find out once there that you did not order the magazine? If they did, you could probably make some money in a countersuit for your time and effort. Did anyone ever have an envelope with postage paid from any of these so-called collection agencies? I considered sending a polite reply that I had not ordered the magazine (it was MaCalls or something like that) until I saw that there was no return postage provided. Why should I pay 25 cents to correct your mistake? So sue me to collect your $20 and see how much it costs you to find out you made a mistake. If you want to play their game and get ulcers, feel free. I've got better things to do. Shirley Kehr
