[Apologies to those downstream sites who have seen this before; our upstream news feed has only just established news transmission to the rest of the world]. A colleague (without access to the net) is interested in software to drive an AED512 graphics system attached to a PDP11/23 running Unix Version 7. She has NO software at present, and would like to hear about anything from DMA device drivers through graphics libraries to applications packages. The most useful information would be: Nature of package Supplier (in the UK or Europe, if possible) Cost Your experiences with the software Please reply either by electronic mail to me or by papermail to Alison Murison Edinurgh College of Art Lauriston Place Edinburgh Scotland I will summarise to net.graphics if the volume of information merits it; please let me know if you would like to be mailed a summary otherwise. -- Chris Miller, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh ...!ukc!{cstvax,kcl-cs}!hwcs!chris chris@hwcs.uucp

The AED User's Group has a distribution tape of AED 512 software. It supports DMA (but not command DMA) and comes with a few useful programs.
