We're looking for a package (PD, Shareware or commercial is fine) that will give us Email connectivity with Unix machines. We have uShare loaded on a Sun workstation. It comes with a Mail desk accessory which, unfortunately, doesn't work at all (it gives System Bombs and fails to write or delete messages). This service DOES, however, permit printer and file services, and those aspects appear to work properly. We need email connectivity. Ideally the package would interact with the Unix system such that you could use Unix mailboxes, although I am willing to settle for a daemon that reads the Unix mailbox and re-writes in a Mac-style format somewhere else... or even something that is opened and runs in the background receiving via SMTP (we have Multifinder on our machines). Help! Commercial informaiton is fine, as are pointers to things or phone calls (even from salesmen!). We can FTP if needed as well. This is a high priority item; any and all help appreciated.
