Howdy.
This will probably seem like a really stupid question, but I'd
appreciate someone patronizing me and emailing an answer. I will be
glad to summarize.
As one might expect from a Medical Systems group, we get a lot of
images of brains and things that we would like to put into
presentations (preferrably slides). We can probably get these images
in Sun 8-bit raster format, and maybe TIFF. I am looking for three
things:
1. A way to convert Sun8 files into say PICT2 or something else Mac
presentation software can read.
2. A recommendation for presentation software that will read the
results of #1 plus TIFF files + anything else you can think of (only
the Lord knows all the formats we may have to deal with).
3. A recommendation for a film recorder which will work as
transparently as possible with #2 (non-computer people will be working
with this and I don't have time to play consultant all the time :^) A
Chooser-level driver would be preferrable.
4. TIFF, GIFF and PICT2 format specs. I don't have FTP access to
other sites so I am really relying on the good nature of those around
me. I realize that these files also require a clut, so I would need
specs on how to generate one when translating a foreign file type.
I really,really,really,really,really,really,really appreciate this.
Thanks in advance
