[comp.sys.mac] MacLand, Mac Products USA: pro/con?

rkh@mtune.att.com (Robert Halloran) (09/06/90)

I'm thinking of picking up a Syquest for my ][GS system. The dealers
selling drives packaged for the A2 are charging in the $750-800 range.
I've noticed MacLand and Mac Products offering external Syquests in the
$600 range; for that much, I can go get the SCSI card separately and
still keep an extra $100.

Question is, are these places reputable enough? Anyone have horror stories
or lavish praise?
