What the Amiga 3000 lacks in commercial software, it makes up for with public domain software. In fact, there's several FTP sites which, if I understand correctly, lots of quality public domain software can be downloaded. I'm curious if there is such a public domain software base available for the Mac's. And, if so, are there similar FTP sites for the Macs as there is for the Amigas? Any information will be greatly appreciated. ---------- How many anonymous FTP sites there are for the Mac I don't know, but there's a hell of a lot. If you really want to find out what's available chack out the most poplar stateside one, sumex-aim.stanford.edu. Or telnet into the ftp archive, archie.cs.mcgill.edu, to get listings of over 900 sites (not necessarly Mac). Mark Lanett
