[comp.sys.mac] Printing mac postscript files on LaserJet III from SUN

I have successfully used the macps software (obtained from Stanford)
to create a postscript file which, when carried on a floppy over to
a PC with an Apple LaserWriter, prints just fine.  Recently, we connected
a HP LaserJet III (with an HP postscript cartridge) to our sun 4/360.
These same files will not print in this environment.  The HP flashes
as it receives data, but nothing prints.  When I download an error
handler to the HP, the error which prints is:
OFFENDING COMMAND:cleartomark
                  no mark set

Non-mac postscript files print just fine.
Does anyone know of a reason for this.  Is the HP postscript emulation
(ADOBE) at fault?  Could the sun printcap be incorrect?
