I'm looking for some software on the Mac to do Chemistry revision. We already have something on our Vax, but its pretty loosely connected having been written by a number of people over a number of years. (and to be honest, a lot of it is pretty condescending). It does things like titration calculations and moles to grams conversions etc. Its intended as revision of school stuff for first year chemistry students at university. It also has some more advanced stuff for later years. What we'd ideally like is a package that has already got some revision there, but that we can expand upon (easily). I've had a look at the intellimation catalogue, anybody have any comments on their chemistry tutor? Free or cheap is nice, but we are prepared to pay for something good. Oh, yeah, metrics please, we don't want to have to fiddle around with inches and pounds. Thanks in advance, Susan.
