*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** I am a proud new owner of a Mac+ and have just started reading this news group as well as mod.mac.sources. My question is where do I find BinHex in order to install programs which appear on the net. I know you must hate seeing this question everytime a new user comes on board but I don't know where else to turn. Also, Is there a USENET site which offers uucp access to the Mac source/binary archives. Thanks, Ken Heitke ihnp4!ihlpe!kah120

Ok, this may sound stupid, but I recently started checking out ftp sites, and they contain files labeled with a .hqx extension. For example: Whatzit.sit.hqx I was told that these files are encoded using BinHex, and I need that to decode them. Any suggestions on whether this is true, and if so, where I could get a copy? Thanx.
