I have just installed a new CD-ROM (Apple's) on my SE/30 system....
Since I work with and for a certified developer, I have had 7.0 beta on my
machine for some time. I am finding that the CD-REMOTE DA on the mac will
not work under system 7.0. This is the da that lets you listen to the music
cd's. It keeps coming up with the error that it can't find the CD-REMOTE
init. Which, by the way is there and shows up (icon does) at startup so I
would think that it is getting loaded. I have all files but the access
files in my extension folder, and the da of course in the apple menu folder,
which the system directs me to do. (If they are not there it tells me to
put them there).
anyone out there have a suggestion,
By the way I pulled the latests drivers for the CD down from apple link
yesterday and they made no difference......
Apple, if you are listening, can you help ??????
Second Problem....
My radius two page display also has problems with system 7.0. I got the
latest Cdev for the monitors and installed it yesterday without any relief.
When the monitor features are turned on, the mac hangs at startup and will
not work at all. If the Cdev is turned off, the monitor works fine but the
configurable features are not usable.
Radius... Is there another update forth coming on this
Anyone,, got any ideas.....
