I need info pertaining to autocad type SW systems available
for macintosh. The hardware available to me is the Mac SE 3030.
The software I am looking for must be able to handle:
o Store and pick from a library of 3D (both system and user generated)
objects.
o Do (of course) Hidden line removal and ray tracing, for illumination
computations and perspective drawings.
o I do not need real-time rotation, scaling, etc., but the response time
of the SW should not be "intolerable," i.e., I should not have to
go for a cup of coffee every time I ask for a different perspective
o a typical application that I deal with has approximately a few thousand
line segments, and It would be nice if the SW package allowed me
to specify the coarseness of my 3D objects, so I can get "draft" and
"final" pictures.
Anyway, my Mac literacy goes about as far as being able to tell one from
a doorstop, so I'll appreciate any help anybody out there can offer me
on this. Please reply to:

Thanks in advance,
