Info-Atari16 digests (and everything else from the Arpanet) go through wiscvm.ARPA and our local IBM mainframe before they rech the users. We have no trouble here decoding UUENCODED files, excpt that the ending spaces tend to be dropped unless people but an extra character at the end of the line. Other than that, all the special characters get to us fine. In fact, LARN came through, assembled, UUDECODED and de-ARC'd just fine.
