The wildcard expansion fixes posted by Robert Royar work. I have incorporated them into GEMLIB and GEMSTART. The new files (including just xopen.o and xmain.o, so you don't have to download GEMLIB in all its 84K glory) will be available from the Developer's SIG on Compuserve when John Feagans gets back from CES. I will be going to CES myself on Friday, Jan. 9, so I may see some of you around the Atari booth. I am grateful to Mr. Royar for his troubleshooting. It is not a priority of ours to fix GEMLIB problems, but when the come over the net like this, and the fixes prove as easy as this one was, I just can't resist. Moreover, I am responsible for the new look of GEMSTART (with the configurable memory model), and I don't want to let any lingering bugs persist there. Before you ask, no, I will not post the fixes to the net. There are undoubtedly people on the net who have acquired Developer's Kits from unofficial sources, and there's call for Atari to give those people free bug fixes and updates. /----------------------------------------------\ | Opinions expressed above do not necessarily | -- Allan Pratt, Atari Corp. | reflect those of Atari Corp. or anyone else. | ...lll-lcc!atari!apratt \----------------------------------------------/
