We are planning on taking a 10-day trip this summer starting from Northern New Jersey and heading towards Canada. We would like to visit Quebec and Montreal and perhaps go through New Hampshire, Vermont and the other North-eastern U.S. States on the way, but otherwise our plans are completely open. Unfortunately, since we are from Australia and aren`t very familiar with this part of the world, we haven't got a clue which is the best, most scenic way to go (or even where to go - e.g. should we try to get to Nova Scotia or New Foundland, how about the Great Lakes or Niagra Falls?). We would really like to hear from anyone who has been this way and has some suggestions or who knows where we might find out some more information. If I get a lot of responses I will summarize them and post them back to this net.travel as I feel there must be other people who are planning on taking a similar route. Many thanks in advance. David Thomas.
