[comp.sys.atari.st] Oh help oh help

Aggh! My ST is dying! I thought that maybe someone here may have an idea
of what might be wrong. The crazy thing is bombing left, right and centre.
For some reason, I notice it most when using Flash. It seems to happen
only when in editor mode. I'll just be sitting there, usually not even
doing anything, and suddenly I get 2, 3, or even 4 bombs, and bango, I'm
back to the desktop. The other main thing I do is program, but I've been
shying away from that lately. But I do remember getting an uncommon lot of
lockups selecting 'Open' from within 1st Word. Up till now I was just
attributing it to something my program was killing.
Now, I was stupid enough to do my own memory upgrade, about 3 or 4 months
ago (blew away the MMU because nobody had told me to take it out while
soldering -- and what a lot of solder joints to do! Ugg), but I've had no
problems with it so far. And running MEMTEST.PRG doesn't reveal any errors.
So. Could it be the GLUE? I'm asking here in hopes that someone else
has had the same problems. I've taken out both the MMU and GLUE and cleaned
the carbon off the contacts and re-socketed them, so I'm sure it's not loose
chips, unless maybe it's the ROMS (just pressed them into their sockets a bit,
didn't take them out and clean them).
