Tonight while I was downloading some PD software from my account here at
the pyramid I deARCed some files (the digitized music files posted by
terrell@ohio-state.arpa) and ARC had the audacity to give CRC errors on
all of the files...every single one.
Angrily, I picked up my copy of I*S Talk and attempted the download using
XMODEM. Only one (of six) files came up with a CRC error that time. Has
anyone else had problems using GEM-Kermit at 9600 baud?
[p.s. has anyone here in net.land actually seen the MegaSTs yet? Are they
all they are cracked up to be? Do I ditch my 520ST before the markdown?
Is Marsha pregnant? Stay tuned for As the Usenet Turns...]
