I would like to get Lisp for my 520 ST. I notice that Cambridge Lisp is advertised for the ST. Does anyone have any experience with this system? In particular: 1. Does it work well with 512k? 2. Does it use the GEM interface? 3. How is its performance? 4. Is it copy-protected? 5. Is this version of Lisp relatively portable? I don't want a really nonstandard dialect. 6. etc... I think that I've seen the program advertised for ~110.00 US. Thanks in advance, Terrell

I briefly looked at the manual of Cambridge Lisp and decided that it was sufficiently different from Common Lisp(effectively the evolving standard) that it wasn't worth buying. I might have considered it at $40 just for playing and experimenting, but for any serious development I decided to skip it. On the other hand, I haven't seen anything better for the ST so if you really need Lisp, it is probably the best choice. Eric Ross ihnp4!hpfcla!hpvcla!ericr
