Word is that the >author is supposedly working on bug fixes at the request of OSS. Release >........... I exchanged mail with CCD (the people who wrote the compiler) beginning of December, they said the next release was delayed because OSS was still fixing bugs in the PASGEM libary. I know (from my own experience) that there are a number of bugs in the PASGEM libary, so I would think that this is the real reason for the delays. The compiler has as far as I know no serious bugs, but quite a lot of limitations and restrictions that were documented in the handbooks for the first two releases of the compiler (BTW I've had the compiler since November 1985)..for some idiotic reason CCD decided just to translate the OSS handbook to german for the more recent releases, which means that a lot of people keep on bumping into problems with the compiler and have no idea what's wrong. If CCD are really changing some of the limitations (32kB arrays, only one buffer for string functions,..) then this will mean at least a rewrite of the code generation, which will naturally take its time.
